The AADC’s 96 hour Fund the Future initiative for our 96th Birthday on Sunday, June 10th is well underway. Thank you to the alumnae and friends who have already helped us raise $8,671 (that's nearly $9,400 with Tina's match so far) as a collective birthday gift to our alumnae community!
Let’s keep the momentum going! If more of our alumnae sisters and friends participate, we can double our goal. The Class of '66 has benefited from more than 50 years of alumnae connections. We wish the same for all alumnae. Therefore, we invite all the "Sixes" to join us in giving a collective 96th birthday gift to our successful alumnae association. Together we can fund the future of the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College (AADC)!
In celebration of the AADC’s 96 birthday, we especially challenge the Class of '96, 2006, and 2016 to participate. If members of these classes join in supporting the AADC, members of the Class of '66 will make a special gift in honor of the class with the highest number of participants!
Consider a gift of $6.00 or $9.60 or $96.00 or $1,000,006! What matters is that you join together with us and with other grateful Douglass Alumnae in support of the AADC. June 7-10, 2018:
The Associate Alumnae of Douglass College (AADC) traces its roots back to the first graduating class of the then NJ College for Women. On June 10, 1922, the same day that the first class graduated, the new alumnae established the Associate Alumnae of the New Jersey College for Women, now the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College, and held the first meeting. From that day to today, the AADC has relied on support from alumnae and friends to advance its mission. Through the AADC you are part of a community of 37,000 alumnae and friends that continues to educate, empower, and engage by leveraging the talents and expertise of our powerful network.
We recognize that furthering the aspirations of each alumna will strengthen the entire alumnae network and its prestige. This is why we strive to provide quality educational, social, and leadership opportunities with lasting impact for all alumnae. Our signature programs, educational lectures, and alumnae-recognition events provide forums for alumnae to engage, connect, and grow. We incorporate leading trends in professional and personal development into the AADC’s Women’s Life-Long Learning Initiative to support alumnae with formative experiences at every stage of life.
The AADC is alumnae-created, alumnae-led, alumnae-driven and alumnae-supported. Alumnae participation, with the support from AADC friends, will ensure a strong future. It will allow the AADC to meets the needs of our growing sisterhood.

Unrestricted gifts to the AADC Annual Appeal are used to seize unique opportunities which empower and strengthen our alumnae sisterhood, to direct funding to alumnae initiatives that are of the greatest priority, and to support general operations which allows us to be a best-in-class alumnae organization. All gifts to the AADC will be assessed an administrative fee of five (5) or ten (10) percent, depending on the size of the gift, to be used for operational purposes.

Alumnae who have contributed a minimum of $40 will be considered active in the fiscal year in which the contribution is made and for the following fiscal year. Alumnae participation ensures the AADC meets the needs of our growing alumnae and continues to connect alumnae to each other, the AADC and unique enrichment opportunities.
